Helping students achieve financial literacy
Wave of the Future
Teaching K-12 and college students to avoid debt, use credit properly and build a spending plan.
Wave of the Future is SDFLC’s financial education program designed to further educate our next generation (K-12 and including college) about credit, debt, budgeting and responsible money habits.
Students use online tools, workbooks and digital resources to practice money skills. Interactive workshops, games and real-life financial scenarios help them build lasting habits.
We recognize that most financial troubles begin at a young age. For that reason the SDFLC also works with elementary and middle school aged children.
Current partners include San Diego Community College District, San Diego Mesa College, Southwestern College, Palomar College Teaching and Learning Center, and many more.
